About the Blackhawks
Lincoln Blackhawks Baseball home field is location in Walton Nebraska, just 2 minutes east of Lincoln. Walton Field is solely dedicated to the Blackhawks Baseball organization. This has been the home field for our organization through a joint partnership that will continue in the future. A labor of love, over $42,000 and a lot of hard work has been put into the facilities. Recent updates included a new outfield fence along with a windscreen, batting cages, netting along the third baseline, new scoreboard, and new roofs on the dugouts.
Our coaches and others associated with the Lincoln Blackhawks organization are really good people. Some have either played and/or coached at a collegiate level and others have years of youth coaching experience and strive to pass down their love of baseball to younger generations. We are always looking to add qualified and energetic coaches to our organization. If you are interested in coaching and/or serving on our board, please contact Jacob Rogers at 402-450-5243.
Membership Fees
Our fees for 2025 are $1,500/player. The fees pay for approximately 5-8 tournaments and 15+ non-tournament games. These numbers are estimates and some teams will have a few more games than others. Also included in fees are three sets of uniforms, indoor facility, and other equipment fees used to maintain Walton Field.
Lincoln Blackhawks Baseball organization does not have organizational fundraising. Each team may choose to fundraise on their own, but there is NO MANDATORY fundraising. Any money raised by an individual team will be used by only that respective team.
A small fee ($28 - $35) per player is required to help pay for the 14's team to play at Haymarket Park each year.
During winter months we will have indoor practice that starts in December/January and runs through March. All teams will have at least one indoor workout time slot per week starting in December/January.
