My name is Brad Oberg, Head Coach of the Blackhawks 11U Gold Team. My goal as coach is to

help the kids grow in their knowledge, skill level and love of the game. 

Baseball has been a big part of my life as long as I can remember and I enjoy passing on my love for the game with my

team. Watching the kids grow throughout the year and improve is what I aspire for as a coach. 

Two traits that I look for out of my ball players are having a great attitude and giving 100% effort. 

My baseball history consisted of playing high school baseball as well as fast pitch softball into my

late 20’s. I have coached several of my 4 sons youth sports teams over the years.  

I am a lifelong Kansas City Royals fan, am happily married to my wife of 12 years, Sami, as well as the proud father to 4 boys.
